Reunion de Reflexion :: Reflection Meeting

Palabras sobran o faltan para describir lo lindas que son nuestras reuniones de reflexion... como muchos de ustedes saben, aprendemos mucho el uno del otro, y compartimos nuestras ideas y experiencias en estas reuniones. Esta reunion fue anoche y quisimos compartir algunas fotos con ustedes de nuestra comunidad en Madison.

Words are not enought or are too many to describe how wonderful are our reflection meetings... as many of you know, we learn a lot one from another, and we share our thoughts and experiences in these meetings. This meeting was last night and we wanted to share with you some photographs from our Madison community.

SNOW DAY!!

On February 16th we had a big "snow day", and everything closed that day because of the snow storm we had in Madison area. They were saying that for 15 years the University hasn't closed due to a snow day, but this blizzard was quite something! Here you see photos of Leila trying to clean the car to go to school -before we knew all was closed. ;)

El 16 de febrero tuvimos una gran "nevada" y todo se cerro aquel dia, debido a la tormenta de nieve que tuvimos en el area de Madison. Dijeron que por 15 años la Universidad no se habia cerrado por nevadas, pero esta tormenta fue muy fuerte! Aqui ven fotos de Leila tratando de limpiar el auto antes de ir a la U -claro, antes de que supimos que todo estaba cerrado. ;)

Ruhi Book 4

Susi Shoaie

Ayer fuimos a Chicago, nos organizamos para encontrarnos con una amiga de Leila, Susana (Susi!!) quien estaba yendo de visita al Templo Baha'i y por lo tanto, nosotros tambien tuvimos el privilegio de estar en el Templo de Wilmette. Ella estaba de ida a Michigan y habia llegado tempranito. El grupo que esta de servicio en el Templo le pidieron que sirva de voluntaria ya que necesitaban a alguien que hablara español aquel dia, asi que hizo una oracion en voz alta!! Estabamos super emocionados nosotros, tuvimos una linda visita y disfrutamos estar con Susi. Del Templo nos fuimos a comer algo al restaurant persa, Reza's, y de alli fuimos al aeropuerto. Ella tenia aun que esperar unas 12 horas y, ojala ahora, esta disfrutando el estado de Michigan!! Fue muy especial ver a Susi, hace unos 6 años que Leila no la habia visto!! Estaba como siempre: radiante y feliz. Aqui hay un par de fotos para que las disfruten...





Yesterday we went to Chicago, we organized to meet with Leila's friend Susana, Susi, who was going to visit the Baha'i Temple and therefore, we also had the bounty of being at the Wilmette Temple. She was in her way to Michigan, and had arrived early. The staff serving at the Temple had requested her to volunteer since they needed a Spanish speaker for that day, and she was one of the prayer readers! :D We had a wonderful visit, and enjoyed being with Susi. From the Temple we went to have something to eat at the Persian restaurant, Reza's, and from there went to the airport. She had to wait about 12 hours, and hopefully now she is enjoying Michigan!! It was very special to us to be able to meet her, it has been 6 years that Leila hasn't seen her! She was like always, radiant and happy. Here are some photos for you to enjoy...
