Happy Naw-Rúz Feliz

We celebrated this year's Naw Ruz with the Baha'i Community in Madison. With Sara, we serve in the Feasts & Holy Days committee and we were in charge of organizing this event for the community, we were about 120! We were very busy, but very happy with the outcome, the friends contributed for the potluck dinner with so many and so diverse type of dishes, and desserts, that that part was well covered! We had a wonderful devotional program prepared by Sara, and we all decorated and cleaned up at the end. A band of Baha'i musicians took care of the entertainment section, as well as a very talented performer, who did some indian dances.

We went later to celebrate New Year together, eating somewhere, actually before going visiting friends ;) and those are the pictures we have to share. If any of our friends will share photos from the Naw Ruz celebration at the Baha'i Center, we will post some for you to see!

Celebramos el Naw Ruz este año con la comunidad Baha'i de Madison. Con una amiga Sara, servimos en el comite de Fiestas & Dias Sagrados, asi que estuvimos a cargo de este evento para toda la comunidad, y fuimos unos 120! Estuvimos muy ocupados pero super felices con los resultados. Los amigos contribuyeron con la comida para la cena, todos con sus tapeques, asi que habia de sobra! Tuvimos una linda parte devocional preparada por Sara y todos decoramos y limpiamos al final. Una banda de musicos Baha'is se encargo de entretenernos, asi como una de las chicas que presento un baile de la India.

Ya otro dia fuimos a celebrar juntos el Año Nuevo cenando en algun lugar, y eso fue antes de visitar a unos amigos ;) de lo cual tenemos estas fotos para compartir con ustedes. Si alguno de nuestros amigos nos manda fotos del Naw Ruz que celebramos en el Centro Baha'i, las pondremos aqui para que las vean!
